There are still quite a few little projects and finishing touches that I wanted to show you while I’m waiting on the pro photos! I was dying to show you all the gifts that I gave my girls for all their hard work, but I wanted to wait until after they had received them. It’s hard enough to keep secrets from my besties, especially fun secrets like presents!
Since I make jewelry as a profession, I definitely wanted to make them some special bling that they could also wear afterwards. They were both going to wear short, strapless cocktail dresses that suited their own tastes so I felt like it was important to create similarly styled jewelry to set them apart from all the guests. I thought a long,Louis Vuitton 2015 Bags, layered necklace would work best for both girls and unlike a huge statement necklace (which could also work with their dress styles), they could wear again much more easily.
My maid of honor was going to wear a shimmery beige number so I wanted to add a bit more color to her piece. Her style runs more on the feminine side so I took the liberty of adding lots of fun,Louis Vuitton Handbags, sparkly pink topaz and huge amethysts.
She totally rocks big earrings so I definitely wanted to give her a pair she could wear again and again.
Bridesmaid G (Aka MOH #2) was going to wear a little peach and gold dress. This melon colored quartz matched it perfectly! Her taste is a little more edgy and minimal, so I kept it simple with a double stranded, asymmetrical necklace.
Her earrings were just a single strand of sparkle to stay in line with her overall style.
They both love feathery hair accessories, so I made each of them this tulle flower hair clip..
.. but I LOST THEM RIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING. This is what happens when you decide to make way too many things and organization is not one of your strong suits. It may have been a blessing in disguise; I’m not sure they needed any additional flair. It might have just been too much going on. What do you think?
I put all their goodies in this cute clutch that I scored from DSW. I’m a little bummed that I didn’t get one for myself, I loved it so much!
Since we haven’t gotten our pro photos back yet,2015 Cheap Louis Vuitton Handbags, the shots from our photo booth have been tiding me over. I leave you with my favorite shot of the three of us:
How did you accessorize your bridal party? Did they all match or did each girl have their own different pieces?
